First of all,
They are two different properties but very closely connected to each other, which is why they look almost the same through the online accommodation booking portal.

Here’s the confusing part:

Ovi Resort & Spa is a larger resort/property brand with resort-style facilities like spa, lawns, restaurant, a banquet hall, apartments, villas, etc.
Mizzle Exotica appears to be a separate holiday stay/apartment setup inside or beside the same “Parishreya / Mizzle” residential complex area in Devale, Lonavala.

Their addresses overlap heavily:

Both mention Gat No. 259/306, Devale, Maval, Lonavala
Some listings literally say Mizzle is only 70 meters away from Ovi.
Ovi’s address even mentions “Parishreya & Mizzle” in business listings.

So practically:

Same locality / same residential-resort cluster
Similar apartments and pool aesthetics
Possibly shared infrastructure in parts
But managed/listed as separate hospitality brands

That’s why Instagram reels and booking photos look nearly identical.
If you’re choosing between them, remember:

Ovi Resort & Spa feels more like a “full resort experience.”
Mizzle Exotica feels more like serviced apartments / vacation homes inside the complex

Sometimes I wish I had more than just 24 hours in a day. Time flies so quickly, and the realization that we did not truly enjoy even a few peaceful moments during the day can feel disappointing.

One of the best ways to reboot your mind and make routine life feel easier and more motivating is by taking short breaks whenever possible. Some places make time feel slower and calmer, allowing you to truly relax and reconnect with yourself.

Hill stations, beaches, mountains, riverside camping, and village trips are some of the best destinations where you can slow down, unwind, and live in the moment.

This article features our family trip to Lonavala, one of the most popular hill stations near Mumbai.

The easiest way to reach Lonavala is by train, and the journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from Mumbai. Trains like Tapovan Express, Panvel Nanded Express, and several local and express trains are convenient options. Upon arriving at the railway station, local taxi drivers may charge higher fares, so it is always better to confirm the pricing beforehand.

If you are planning a road trip from Mumbai, the journey may take around 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic conditions and how far your resort is located from the main town area.

OUR STAY IN LONAVALA

Ovi Resort & Spa

The property was very neat, clean, and well-maintained. I would describe it as a luxury stay available at a very affordable price with all the basic amenities required for a comfortable family vacation.

Since we were traveling with our daughter, we preferred cooking our own meals during the stay instead of depending entirely on outside food. We only ordered from the in-house restaurant twice to experience some authentic Maharashtrian cuisine.

LOCATION

Parishreya & Mizzle, Sadapur Road, Devale, Taluka Maval, Lonavala, Maharashtra, India.

Our stay cost approximately ₹10,000 for 3 nights during weekdays. Weekend pricing may be slightly higher depending on availability and season.

RESTAURANT

The in-house restaurant served very good food that tasted close to home-cooked meals. Upon prior request, the staff also prepared food according to our preferences.

OUR EXPERIENCE

PROS

We genuinely enjoyed our stay. Initially, I was slightly concerned about the safety and security of the place since it is located away from the crowded town area. However, after speaking with the security staff, we understood that the property is situated in a peaceful local village area and all entry and exit points are monitored by guards working in shifts. The owner also stays within the property premises, which added to the feeling of security.

Food was never a problem during our stay. The food we tried was good, and the water quality was also fine — neither hard nor salty. Towels and basic toiletries were provided, and additional items like room freshener, detergent, shampoo, etc., could be requested whenever required.

Smoking and drinking were not allowed within the resort property, which made the atmosphere peaceful and family-friendly.

The property is very child-friendly and ideal for families. From what we observed, decent bachelor groups may also be allowed, although the environment remains calm and respectful.

Housekeeping services were good. Since we cooked our meals, the staff even helped clean the utensils whenever requested. Maids would come upon informing the manager, and housekeeping was done regularly. Basic cooking utensils were already available inside the apartment, and additional utensils could also be arranged depending on availability.

CONS

It is a good stay option for 1 or 2 nights if your intention is mainly relaxation. However, there are limited entertainment options within the property itself.

The nearest market area is approximately 12 km away from the resort, so it is advisable to carry all essential items required for your stay, including medicines, first aid, snacks, baby products, or other personal necessities, as shops are not easily accessible nearby.
